Dayton, Ohio – January 5, 2026 – Spintech Holdings, Inc. today announced its official rebranding to Hawthorn Aero, Inc., marking a significant milestone in the company’s evolution as a leading provider of advanced manufacturing solutions for the aerospace and defense industry.
The rebrand consolidates three legacy brands—Spintech Holdings, Smart Tooling, and Hawthorn Composites into a single, unified identity: Hawthorn Aero. This strategic move eliminates marketplace confusion and positions the company to deliver broader, more integrated solutions to its customers.

The name “Hawthorn” pays tribute to Hawthorn Hill, the historic Dayton home designed by Orville and Wilbur Wright and completed in 1914. For 34 years, it served as the Wright family residence and today stands as part of the Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park. By choosing this name, Hawthorn Aero honors the pioneering spirit of the Wright Brothers and the extraordinary legacy of aviation and engineering excellence that originated in Dayton.
